Introduction

Many existing magazines in the region publish content in a way that treats stories as disposable: shallow coverage, repetitive content, little context, rarely going deep into culture, innovation, or the people behind change. That leads to a media environment where meaningful voices are under-represented, nuance gets lost, and the heritage or future potential of the region is rarely given its due. Research shows that much of contemporary Arab cultural journalism duplicates content across print and digital, often recycling the same material, undermining depth and originality.
